A growing provider of mechanical and electrical services to the construction industry is moving to larger premises in Kings Hill as it prepares for further expansion.

Centrum+ has taken a lease of 2,363 sq ft of space in 2 Kings Hill Avenue, a large single-storey, multi-let building offering self-contained offices and adjacent parking.

Since it was launched in 2016, the company has grown to have 30 employees and an annual turnover of £15m. In addition to mechanical and electrical services, it offers its clients ongoing facilities management support.

Managing Director Mark Watson said: “Given the growth of the business in recent years, the time has come to move out of our current Kings Hill premises and into larger offices that will accommodate the ongoing expansion of the company and allow us to efficiently support our expanding client base.

“Kings Hill is a great location for us. It offers good quality office space in a pleasant environment with excellent transport links. It is also home to a vibrant business community – which provides good networking opportunities – and there is easy access to a diverse range of sports and leisure amenities outside of work.”

Centrum+ has clients across the UK in both the public and private sectors in areas ranging from Industrial, Commercial, Retail to Defence and Education. Recent projects have included a full programme of upgrades to Lloyds Banking Group’s headquarters and branches. Other work has included the replacement of essential plant to MOJ premises and full mechanical and electrical replacement to multi floor probation service offices as well as many other design and build projects nationwide.

Caroline Binns of Kings Hill developer Liberty Property Trust said: “Centrum+ is one of the many businesses that are flourishing in Kings Hill and we are delighted they have chosen to stay and expand here. We have a range of flexible office space which means we can meet the needs of companies of all shapes and sizes.”

The landlord is represented by Hanover Green, Altus Group and Knight Frank.
