John Muir Trust Awards

Congratulations to our latest cohort of John Muir Trust awardees!  Dan and Stephen are lucky recipients of the Explorer award after completing over 50 hours exploring and taking responsibility for wild places.  We are very proud of them both. Here they are in one of the polytunnels up at our Horticultural Unit at Barham Skills Centre.

Shortly, we will be able to offer our students a range of external qualifications under AQA’S Unit Award Scheme (UAS). The courses have been designed by The Fifth Trust to provide adults with learning disabilities with a qualification for a variety of different skills. The courses are a flexible and accessible way for learners to have their achievements formally recognised by the AQA accredited awarding body.
