The Battle of Britain Memorial Trust, which honours the memory of those who fought and won perhaps the most famous victory achieved by this country in the 20th century, has introduced a new range of corporate experience packages.

The Trust looks after the National Memorial to the Few, which sits on the clifftop at Capel-le-Ferne near Folkestone in Kent, and in 2015 opened a modern visitor centre, The Wing, that includes The Scramble Experience, a high-tech introduction to the aerial battle that changed history.

The site itself includes the Christopher-Foxley Norris Memorial Wall, which lists the names of the fewer than 3,000 men of the RAF who took part, replica Spitfire and Hurricane fighters and a host of other attractions.

Now the Trust has launched ‘experience packages’ that are aimed at businesses and are ideal for corporate gifts or staff rewards or away days.

The packages include a personal guided tour for the group, a cream tea in the first floor cafe giving views out over the Channel to the French coast, and admission to The Scramble Experience in The Wing.

There are packages for eight or ten people and an add-on Prosecco or beer option, with all the money raised supporting the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust, a charity that receives no government or local government funding.

Companies looking to book the tour for staff members can also take advantage of the Trust’s meeting room options, with two modern, AV-equipped options available on site.
