Brachers’ Corporate team has advised Blue Iris Childcare Limited on the acquisition of Little Dolphins Day Nursery Limited and its premises.

Little Dolphins Day Nursery, based in Bexleyheath, offers quality care and education to children aged three months to five years, providing stimulating activities and an engaging environment.

Little Dolphins is the perfect acquisition for Swanley-headquartered Blue Iris Childcare, owned by Cassandra Grice. Grice also owns the established Chamberlain Childcare Limited and operates the Premier Lodge Day Nursery in Sidcup, which has been in business for 58 years.

The team at Brachers, a Patron of Kent Invicta Chamber, was led by Claire Williams (Corporate Partner), and included Alistair Wickham (Corporate Associate), Charlotte Berthel (Corporate Legal Assistant) and Sophie Spellman (Commercial Property Associate).

Finance was provided by HSBC, led by Relationship Manager Tom Tombs. The sellers were represented by Blake Morgan.

Claire Williams, Corporate Partner, Brachers, added: “Cassandra is truly passionate about delivering the highest quality childcare and it was a pleasure to assist her. This was a complex deal, involving lengthy negotiations. In addition to the share purchase, Brachers’ work included acting for Blue Iris on the acquisition of the property occupied by Little Dolphins where various planning issues had to be overcome. Thank you to Cassandra, HSBC, the sellers’ team at Blake Morgan and our colleagues at Brachers for their hard work and perseverance.”
