Glaucoma UK is the charity for people with glaucoma. Our aim is an end to preventable glaucoma sight loss, and that everyone with glaucoma can live well with the condition.

In March 2022, Glaucoma UK’s Treasurer will be retiring. We are now looking for a new Treasurer with strong strategic and financial ability, and a good level of awareness of the issues facing the charity sector.

The Treasurer’s role is to monitor the financial administration of the charity and report to the board of trustees on its state of financial health, in line with best practice, and in compliance with the governing document and legal requirements.

Day to day responsibility for financial matters is delegated to the CEO, supported by the Head of Finance. The role requires attendance at 4 trustee board meetings each year plus 4 Finance & Governance sub-committee meetings.
