In a world where every child deserves the chance to flourish, there are still barriers that stand in the way of realising this vision for some. But amidst these challenges, 21 Together—a charity dedicated to supporting children and young people with Down’s syndrome across Kent and Medway, is forging new services to ensure children and young people can live full and vibrant lives.

Providing specialist support aimed at life-changing social and communication skills for individuals from birth to 25 years old, they create spaces where children can develop essential communication skills and forge meaningful connections with others, alongside essential Community Support services for families needing help navigating the system.

Since the charity started, 21 Together has witnessed the profound impact of their work, not only on the children they serve but also on their families. Eight years later, 21 Together is expanding its reach, opening a new centre in Thanet to replicate their projects to even more families.
