Mark Leeson, co-head of Brachers’ Family Law team, has scooped a coveted Kent Law Society Award for his pro bono work.

This prestigious award honours Mark for his commitment to supporting separated families within our community, through his work with the Supporting Separated Families Alliance: Kent.  The alliance provides a local support system for parents and children who are going through a family breakdown.

The Kent Law Society lies at the heart of Kent’s legal community, supporting the county’s solicitors, trainee solicitors and law students while providing members with training, community and business support.

Joanna Worby, Brachers’ Managing Partner, said: “Warm congratulations to Mark for receiving this fantastic recognition from Kent Law Society. Throughout his distinguished career as a family lawyer, Mark has endeavoured to help separated families move forward positively – an ethos which also underpins his inspiring community work.

“May I also congratulate Brachers’ Paige Hinkins and Chloe Croft who were both finalists in Law Society’s Junior Lawyer category.”

Mark was presented with the accolade at Kent Law Society’s annual dinner and awards night, which took place at the Mercure Great Danes Hotel on Friday 10 May 2024.
